Colleen ~ owner and founder of Loose Thread Stitchers
Colleen is a needlework designer, stitcher, wife and mother of 3 young (ages 5, 3 and 1) children. The goal to create a site that would help stitchers find what they need, allow all industry professionals to showcase their companies and build the needlework community online drove Colleen to spend countless hours researching and developing LTS. In her spare time Colleen volunteers for her local EGA chapter, coach grade school JV soccer and puts in at least 1 row of stitches each and every day.
Kelli ~ Office Manager
A past executive assistant to a corporate Vice President, Kelli is used to the long hours and unusual requests that can be thrown her way. Handling our requests with grace and ease is just a small part of why Kelli makes our LTS office so wonderful. Unfortunately, Kelli will be leaving the LTS family soon for an even better position – MOM. Kelli is expecting her first child in March. Don’t worry, we will post pics and show our newest addition!
Veronica ~ Gadget and Product reviews
Veronica Buckwalter is a custom needlework finisher. She has a Home Economic and Art background. For several years Veronica designed and made costumes for local community theatres and schools. When talking with other stitchers, she often tells them to think outside the box. Veronica encourages them to explore the use of color, texture, fibers and to use unique finishes for their needlework. Veronica is a gadget person. She loves researching and trying new products trying to find things to make needlework fun, easy and organized.

A wife, mother and dedicated stitcher, Erin jumped at the opportunity to promote the growth of the community that she holds so dear.
Margarida ~ Stitcher and Industry Service Director
A true customer service professional, Margarida’s attention to detail and quick problem solving skills make her a cut above the rest. Gida enjoys interacting with stitchers and finding ways to make stitching fun and enjoyable for all ages. When not attending to our stitchers needs, Gida spends her time chasing her 2 year old daughter and teaching her how to stitch.
Patricia Podziomek ~ Retreat Coordinator
A Stitcher for over 30 years, Pat has created heirloom quality piece for friends and family for hundreds of special occasions. When her LNS was unable to hold retreats, Pat vowed that she would step in and continue to create a special weekend for stitchers to sit, stitch and enjoy each others company. Pat has created the LTS retreat with stitchers needs and needles in mind. When Pat is not providing custom finishing, she spends every minute with her new grand daughter, with whom she intends to teach to stitch as soon as she
Jen ~ Interview Director
A true “Chatty Cathy”, Jen has worked as an independent writer for the past 5 years covering numerous topics of interest to women, families and nutrition. Jen’s easy interview style, ability to find and spotlight new talent made her the perfect choice. When not covering the next big thing in stitching, Jen enjoys visiting LNS’s (and who doesn’t!) and studying the stitches up close and personal.
